LSU’s Zach Watson Named Preseason All-American

The preseason accolades continue to roll in for LSU outfielder Zach Watson.

A sophomore outfielder, Watson was named a third-team preseason All-American by Perfect Game on Tuesday..

A graduate of West Ouachita High School, Watson was named a Freshman All-American last season, after hitting a .317, to go along with three home runs, 37 runs batted in, 42 runs scored, and 12 stolen bases.

Watson was also named to the Collegiate Baseball preseason All-American team this preseason.

Others names of note on the Perfect Game Preseason All-American list include South Alabama junior outfielder Travis Swaggerty, a first-team pick, and Southeastern Louisiana senior third baseman Taylor Schwaner, a third-team selection.
