LUS Takeover Proposal Released By Local Utilities Board
Liz Webb Hebert, the Lafayette Public Utilities Authority Chair, announced a public meeting to discuss the proposal by Bernhard Capital under the name NexGen Utility System. Click here to read the full NextGen Proposal. The briefing will be held Tuesday, October 9th at the Lafayette Consolidated Government council chambers. The meeting starts at 5:30 PM
In a release, Hebert said, "The meeting will allow representatives of the company to provide an overview of the proposal. I would like to emphasize that a vote on this matter will not be taken during the October 9th meeting.”
