Yet another visual to remind us that fighting during parades is never cool.

Actually, fighting in general is never cool and a man who allegedly got into a fist fight during the St. Patrick's Day parade in Metairie had to be removed from his float by police.

At first, I thought maybe this guy hopped off the float to fight someone and tried to escape by jumping back on his float to ride away, but apparently he was fighting someone ON his float.

On Sunday, JPSO Col. John Fortunato said the rider was removed at the request of several of his float mates. After deputies got the rider off the float in question, he and his friend then agreed to leave and went on their way, Fortunato said.

No one was arrested as a result of the incident.
