One of the five candidates seeking to be Lafayette's next Mayor/President, Nancy Marcotte, says that she believes Lafayette has the money it needs to deal with their issues, but we must prioritize what needs to be done.

Marcotte joined Bernadette Lee and Brandon Comeaux for "Acadiana's Morning News" to talk about her plans for the city and parish of Lafayette if she is elected to the top job.

Marcotte says we will have to have some tough discussions as a community to figure out what we want our priorities to be, and then we must decided how to better allocated the existing funds.

She speaks more about the issues people talk to her about, and how she thinks our community can move forwards.
