Peyton Havard Commits To UL Baseball – VIDEO
For the second-consecutive day, a standout high school player committed to play college baseball for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.
On Wednesday, DeRidder left-hander pitcher/outfielder Chipper Menard committed to Louisiana.
Like Menard, Havard is a junior, who will graduate in 2020, and will be college eligible in 2021.
The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Havard, who reportedly currently throws his fastball right around 90-mph, was named the District 22-4A Pitcher of the Year, as well as the All-Orange County Pitcher of the Year, after helping Bridge City to a district title.
