The New Orleans Saints re-signed an offensive lineman to their practice squad on Wednesday.

To make room for Turner, the Saints released quarterback J.T. Barrett.

After playing his college football at North Carolina, Turner signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-4, 325-pound Turner played in 7 games for New Orleans in 2016, including one as a starter.

The Saints waived the 25-year old Turner prior to the 2017 campaign, before signing him to the practice squad the next day.

After signing a reserve/futures contract with the Saints back in January, Turner was waived by the Saints on November 1.
