On Friday, the Louisiana Senate passed the House-approved bill dealing with the state's $28 Billion operating budget that would appropriate every available dollar. The final vote - 26 Yeas, 9 Nays, 3 Absent.

During the Regular Legislative Session, the Senate voted 36-1 on the same budget deal (Sen. Milkovich was the only Nay vote then). Remember, this House-approved budget deal was the same bill that was pushed and approved by the Senate in that 36-1 vote.
