A female and two males are wanted for allegedly attempting to rob a good samaritan that stopped to help them.

This past Saturday night, a man stopped to help some people that were allegedly stranded on the side of the road, and they tried to rob the man.

Someone in the group of three suspects also fired at the victim's truck according to officials with the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers program via press release.

Police are looking for two black men, one of whom had dreadlocks, and one black woman.

Officials with the Acadia Crime Stoppers program say that when the victim got into his truck to get away from the people trying to steal his 4-wheeler, they started shooting at him.

All of this happened this past Saturday night at around 10'clock around St. Margaret Street. Church Point Police and other law enforcement are hoping someone might know something. The suspect's vehicle is said to be a four-door car that is red in color.

If you think you have any information that might help, you could make up to $2,500 for giving police the information they need that can lead to an arrest.

There are two ways that you can give information to law enforcement anonymously. The first way to give information is by calling the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 337-789-TIPS(8477).
