Two Acadiana Men Charged With Stealing Lawn Equipment From Episcopal School Of Acadiana
29-year-old Sean Snelson of Broussard and Brandon Labiche of St. Martinville have been arrested for allegedly stealing about $18,000.00 worth of lawn equipment from ESA, located off of Smede Highway in St. Martinville.
Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says they were able to recover the stolen items at the two men's homes, after securing search warrants. Major Higgins says 95% of the stolen items were recovered at Snelson's home on Duchamp Road on Wednesday, while the rest was recovered at Labiche's home on Mustang Drive on Thursday.
Both Snelson and Labiche are charged with burglary and theft over $1500.00.
All of the property has been returned to ESA.
