
UL Softball Remains In Top 25 Of RPI Rankings
The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns remain in the top 25 in the seventh college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) poll of 2018, which was released on Monday.
Louisiana, who is 33-13 on the season, including an 18-6 Sun Belt Conference record, ranks number 22 this week, which is the same spot from a week ago.
The Cajuns, who went 2-1 last week, return to the diamond on Friday, when they play host to the ULM Warhawks in a conference series.
Oregon is the top team in the RPI rankings this week, followed by UCLA, Florida, Oklahoma, and Washington.
6-10 consists of Florida St., Arizona St., Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
LSU is #13 this week.
Louisiana is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school, followed by Texas St. (#27), Georgia St. (#60), South Alabama (#72), Georgia Southern (#79), UTA (#87), Troy (#97), Coastal Carolina (#123), ULM (#147) , and Appalachian St. (#223).
