Suspicious Package Shuts Down Southeast Thruway On Thursday

The Southeast Evangeline Thruway was closed down for about an hour last night after a suspicious suitcase was found in a restaurant.
Police closed down the road and went in to investigate about a suitcase was found at Mamma's Fried Chicken at around 6:40 last night.
After about an hour the suitcase was deemed harmless by Lafayette Police.
