
Acadiana Hit By 3 Tornadoes On Saturday
Saturday morning saw volatile weather hit from one end of Louisiana to the other. As a matter of fact, according to our news partners at KATC, the National Weather Service has confirmed three tornadoes impacted Acadiana.
In Carencro, weather officials say an EF-2 tornado with 115 mph winds touched down between University Avenue and Patin Road, damaging several homes and businesses.
In St. Landry Parish, an EF-1 tornado with 110 mph winds damaged several homes.
And in St. Mary Parish, an EF-0 tornado with 80 mph winds destroyed the Plantation Inn's roof.
