Am I the only one who has noticed that several Mississippi Gulf Coast Casinos have revealed plans for expansion just weeks after the Supreme Court ruled that wagering on sports can't be limited to Nevada?

The latest casino on the Gulf Coast to petition city fathers in Biloxi, Mississippi for permission to expand is Treasure Bay Casino. According to reports, the casino has a multi-phase plan to include more parking and increase the gaming space at their beachfront location.

City officials in Biloxi are expected to review the request today (July 11) that, if approved, would include an additional four acres of surface parking on the west side of the property. Meanwhile, a new parking garage is planned for land on the eastern side of the property.

After the two phases of parking have been completed the casino has plans to expand second-floor gaming space. This new space would allow for more slot machines, table games, and restaurants.
