Police have confirmed 22 fatalities and nearly 60 injuries after the "explosion" of a terror attack rocked the Manchester Arena where Ariana Grande had just performed.

People were seen running out of the arena as police and medical crews rushed to the scene.

Billboard has confirmed that Ariana Grande is safe and was not injured in the attack.

As you may expect, after the loud bang people rushed towards the exists, creating a stampede in the arena. TMZ says that people were trampled over while trying to seek cover or exit the arena.

Authorities believe a man carrying explosives acted as the lone attacker and died in the blast of a reported "nail bomb" that left many bleeding profusely at the scene of the incident. British Prime Minster confirmed the incident as a terrorist attack.

It is now beyond doubt that the people of Manchester and of this country have fallen victim to a callous terrorist attack. An attack that targeted some of the youngest people in our society with cold calculation

President Donald Trump commented on the tragic incident, calling those behind the attack "losers."
