Breaux Bridge Man Arrested On Molestation Charges

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a Breaux Bridge man for molestation of a juvenile.

Major Ginny Higgins said 41-year-old Robert Boutte Jr. was arrested Monday after deputies received reports of the alleged sexual abuse.

Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for Boutee's arrest.

He was arrested Monday afternoon on two counts of molestation of a juvenile.

He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. Bond was set at $200,000.
