Rayne Woman Dies In Crash

Just before midnight, a Rayne woman was involved in a vehicle crash in the western part of Lafayette Parish.

Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office Spokesman John Mowell says that 27-year-old Skye Miller of Rayne drove off of Ridge Road, and her car hit a tree.

Mowell says Miller was not wearing her seat belt when the single vehicle crash happened in the 4300 block of Ridge Road.
