Road Closures Begins Today As Part Of I-10 Widening Project

Louisiana Avenue northbound under I-10, between the on and off ramps of La. Avenue northbound, will be closed beginning today and lasting until Wednesday, February 28. Workers will be performing construction on the overpass from 4 AM to 3 PM daily.

Detour: I-10 eastbound to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge) to I-10 westbound to Louisiana Avenue northbound.

The I-10 widening project will widen a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2019.
