The Man Who Inspired Morstead Pull Up Challenge Has Died

It is the human mindset to build our walls and generally stay within them. Every so often we meet another human who shares a similar sense or sensibility and we connect and become friends. Such was the case with New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead and Saints employee Chris Cordaro.

We all know Morstead from his exploits on the field. Cordaro we now also know through his friendship with Morstead. It was Cordaro's battle with cancer that inspired Morstead to inspire us to support Chris Cordaro and his family by contributing to a college fund for his young children.

Sadly, Chris Cordaro's battle with cancer ended yesterday.

Chris Cordaro is among the many unsung "Saints" that most of us never see or know about. Still, his story is as magnificent as any story to ever come out of the Saints organization.

Chris leaves behind his wife Jessalyn and his two children. Hopefully, his legacy will not be one of sadness but one of courage for the way he faced his illness and love for the feelings he shared with his family and his Saints family.
