
Troopers Arrest Person Alleged To Have Killed Someone During A Hit And Run
Troopers have arrested a man they say is the person responsible for killing a woman from Moss Bluff during a hit-and-run this week.
State Police arrested 42-year-old Trevino Clark. The Lake Charles man was arrested for allegedly killing the victim Monday morning during the crash.
They say they found the suspected hit-and-run car at a barn on Clark's property.
Multiple agencies were working on this case since the woman died including:
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office
The Lake Charles Police Department
The Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office
Troopers from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations
The victim, 29-year-old Samantha Broussard, was walking on the shoulder of the I-10 westbound on ramp before you get to Louisiana Highway 397, when she was run over. State Police say Clark fled.
