Two players are leaving the LSU baseball program.

Infielder Mason Templet and catcher/infielder Rankin Woley are transferring out of the program.

Templet, who played his high school baseball at a St. Thomas More, played sparingly as a freshman, going 0-for-6 at the plate.

Woley, who was suspended indefinitely this fall for a violation of team rules, played in 26 games last season as a freshman for the Tigers, including eight starts. He hit .267 with four doubles, one triple and five RBIs.

The transfers put LSU at 34 players, one below the NCAA maximum of 35.
