New Louisiana Ragin' Cajun football coach Billy Napier has added another member to his coaching staff.

Former LSU assistant Jabbar Juluke, who spent last season at Texas Tech, is the newest member of Napier's first coaching staff.

A graduate of Southern University, where he played safety for the Jaguars, Juluke served as the head coach at Edna Karr High School for nine years, leading them one state title, as well as three-consecutive appearances in the state championship game.

A native of New Orleans, Juluke was the running backs coach at Louisiana Tech, from 2013-2015, before leaving accepting an assistant position with Texas Tech.

After one month, Juluke left Texas Tech, and accepted the running backs coach position at LSU.

After being dismissed by LSU following the 2016 campaign, Juluke headed back to Texas Tech for the 2017 season.

Juluke, who served as the associate head coach/running backs coach for the Red Raiders, resigned his position at Texas Tech, and will be joining Karl Scott, the new UL defensive coordinator, who served as defensive backs coach at Texas Tech last season.
