It'll be "Daddy-Daughter Day" on Sunday as the 21st-ranked Louisiana Ragin Cajuns softball team takes on 24th-ranked Texas State in a matchup of Sun Belt Conference powers at Lamson Park.

Kayla Hebert, Assistant Director of Marketing, Promotions and Fan Engagement for the University says the first 50 daddy-daughter combos will receive a voucher for free popcorn, courtesy of Sodexo, when they enter the stadium.

Before the game, all dads and daughters will be able to stand on the field with the softball players for pregame introductions and the National Anthem.

After the game, they'll be able to get back on the field and play catch, run the bases, etc.

Hebert says they really look forward to this promotion every year, not only for the experience the dads and daughters get to have on the field, but also for the interaction they get to have with their favorite Cajun softballers after the game when the players come back out to sign autographs, answer questions and take pictures.

Game time is set for 1 p.m.
