Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns softball team climbed one spot in the latest ESPN.COM/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana, who won all six of their games in the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational last weekend at Lamson Park, jumped one spot, from #19 last week, to #18 this week.

The Cajuns captured two wins apiece over North Dakota St., Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Alcorn St. last weekend, to improve to 17-4 on the season.

UL returns to action on Thursday, hosting #15-ranked Baylor in a non-conference match-up at Lamson Park before traveling to Boone, North Carolina this weekend, where they will begin their Sun Belt Conference scheduled, taking on Appalachian St.

The Florida Gators are once again the top-ranked team in this week’s poll, followed by the Florida St. Seminoles, Oregon Ducks, Auburn Tigers, and the Texas A&M Aggies to round out the top five.

Arizona is number six this week, while Minnesota, Washington, Alabama, and Oklahoma complete the top ten.

At 11-15 in this week’s poll, it’s UCLA, LSU, Tennessee, James Madison, and Baylor, with Michigan, Georgia, Louisiana, California, and Kentucky at 16-20.

Finally, at 21-25, it’s Utah, Ole Miss, Arizona St., Arkansas, and Wisconsin.
