UL/LSU Baseball Moving Up In RPI Rankings
Where are the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and the LSU Tigers in the latest college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) poll of 2018, which was released on Monday?
Well, both are moving up.
Louisiana, who went 5-0 last week, is up six spots, to at #74 this week.
The Cajuns, who defeated McNeese St. and Southeastern Louisiana in non-conference action, before sweeping a Sun Belt Conference series from Appalachian St., is currently 20-17 on the season.
LSU, who went 4-0 last week, is #41 this week, up nine spots, from a week ago.
The Tigers, who defeated Louisiana Tech in non-conference action last week, before sweeping an SEC series from Tennessee, is 24-13 on the season.
Florida is the top team in this week's RPI rankings, followed by Stanford, Texas Tech, Arkansas, and Oregon St. to round out the top five.
At 6-10, it's Ole Miss, Georgia, North Carolina, UConn, and East Carolina.
The top ranked Sun Belt Conference school is Coastal Carolina, at #16.
