$30,000 Lottery Scratch Off Winner Sold In Lafayette
Someone who purchased a scratch-off lottery ticket in the city of Lafayette has won $30,000. In this time of the possibility of really big payouts with Mega Millions and Powerball games, we tend to let the scratch-off tickets fly under the radar. Not this time.
According to the Louisiana Lottery, a $3 Crossword Multiplier scratch-off ticket was purchased at T&J Food Mart on Louisiana Avenue in Lafayette sometime last week. The ticket is a $30,000 winner and Lottery officials are waiting for the person who is holding that ticket to come forward.
As far as the multi-state lottery games, Mega Millions will have its next drawing on Tuesday night with an estimated jackpot of $654 million. The next Powerball drawing will be held on Wednesday night. The estimated jackpot for that game will be $345 million.
