This Halloween, if you're making the rounds with your kids trick-or-treating and you walk up to a house with a teal colored pumpkin, there's a reason why it's there. If you have kids with food allergies, you definitely need to know what it means.

If you see a teal pumpkin, it signifies that house has non-food treats. If a kid has food allergies, there's hardly anything they'll get on Halloween they can even keep. Imagine getting all dressed up, walking around for hours collecting goodies, and you can't keep hardly any of it? That's way more trick than treat.

When you're getting your things together for trick-or-treaters this year, make sure you have some goodies set aside for kids with allergies.
