Officials with Lafayette's Public Works Department have announced that another phase of the Kaliste Saloom widening project will begin this week.

Siema Construction is the company that will be doing the work, and they have announced that East and West Farrel at Kaliste Saloom will be the site of this phase of the work.

Whether permitting, the work will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29, but there is a fifty percent chance of rain tomorrow.

The work will take approximately three months to complete, and the work will be centered around improving things at the intersections of East and West Farrel at Kaliste Saloom Roads.

You will still be able to drive on Kaliste Saloom, but if there are detours, signs will be posted.
