Something To Keep In Mind About Homecoming Travel
Tomorrow is the University of Louisiana's Homecoming game at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at Cajun Field.
With Homecoming, there have been a variety of activities throughout the week that have been part of this year's celebration.
The fun continues tomorrow with the annual Homecoming parade through the campus.
With the thousands out there to enjoy the parade, the University just wants to remind people that there will be a few road closures tomorrow, and they are as follows:
St. Mary Blvd from Johnston Street to Taft Street
Johnston Street from South College to St. Mary Blvd
Girard Park Circle is closed from East lews to Hospital Drive because of ongoing construction
University officials are asking people who are not attending the festivities to keep these closures from 9 a.m. until noon tomorrow in mind when you are making your plans.
The parade route begins at Blackham Coliseum which is at the corner of Johnston and Cajundome Blvd, and it goes down Johnston Street to St. Mary where it ends at UL Lafayette's Alumni Center.
