Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office investigates afternoon shooting

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an afternoon shooting.

A spokesperson told KATC that one person was shot around 1:30 in the 3700 block of W Admiral Doyle Drive.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Right now, deputies are talking with residents to corroborate stories.

At this time, deputies do not have a suspect.
