LSU Baseball Rises In Latest Major Poll

The LSU baseball team is on he rise in a major college baseball poll this week.

The Tigers, following a 2-2 week last week, are up four spots, to #17, in this week's Baseball America poll, which was released on Monday.

LSU fell to Louisiana in a non-conference affair last week, before winning 2-of-3 games in an SEC series against Mississippi St.

The Tigers are now 18-11 on the season.

Florida is the top team in this week's poll, followed by Stanford, Ole Miss, Florida St., and Oregon St., to round out the top five.

At 6-10, it's North Carolina St., Texas Tech, Arkansas, and Duke.
